Bromine or chlorine?

Both keep spa water safe; they differ in how often you tend them and what the water feels like. Pick the routine you'll actually keep — the Starter Kit below switches to match.

BromineTablets in a floater · set and check

  • How it worksSlow-dissolving tablets in a floating dispenser keep a steady level of bromine in the water. Shock weekly to reactivate it.
  • RoutineRefill the floater as tablets dissolve; test twice a week; shock weekly.
  • FeelSofter smell than chlorine and effective across a wider pH range in hot water; many owners find it gentler on skin and eyes.
  • Good forOwners who want the least day-to-day attention and use the spa several times a week.
