Winter Safety Covers · Niagara

A continuous scene of one pool through a full year, controlled by scrolling: open summer water, the safety cover drawn across and tensioned to anchors in the deck, autumn leaves on the mesh, the cover carrying snow through winter, and the cover coming off in spring to clear water.

Why a safety cover

What a fitted cover actually changes

A safety cover is anchored into the deck and tensioned across the pool, so it holds its shape all winter instead of sagging into the water. That one difference is where every other benefit comes from.

    The material

Two meshes, one standard of safety

CoverWerx builds both meshes to the same safety strength, with the same hardware, the same workmanship and the same lifetime pro-rated warranty. What changes is the weave — how quickly water drains, how much fine dust and sunlight gets through, and which grid it can be built on.

    How availability works

Premium High Density Mesh is built on a 3×3 grid only, and is priced 20% above the equivalent 3×3 Standard Mesh cover. A 5×5 cover is always Standard Mesh. If you choose Premium and then switch to 5×5 in the estimator, we set the material back to Standard automatically and tell you why — you will never be quoted a cover CoverWerx cannot build.

    Side by side

    Where the two actually differ

Read this row by row rather than picking a column. On several lines the two are identical — and those lines matter as much as the ones that differ.

CoverWerx Standard Mesh compared with Premium High Density Mesh.
Feature Standard Mesh Premium High Density Mesh

One thing worth being clear about

Premium is not the safer cover. Both meshes are built to the same CoverWerx safety strength, with the same hardware and the same warranty. What you pay the extra 20% for is finer filtration, less sunlight reaching the water, and the denser premium material — not a stronger cover.

    Instant quote

Price your cover in about two minutes.

Tell the estimator your pool's shape and size, whether it has steps, and which mesh and grid you want. It prices the cover and every required component on the spot — itemized, with nothing hidden in a bundle.

No email address. No callback. Just the number.

      The difference

A cover that holds its shape, not the water's.

Anchored into the deck and tensioned corner to corner, it carries snow instead of sinking under it — and drains every thaw straight back into the pool.

      The grid

      3×3 or 5×5 — a separate decision

The grid is the webbing layout across your cover. It is not the same choice as the mesh, and it is worth understanding on its own — because it drives how many anchors go into your deck, and because it decides whether Premium is even an option.

      5×5 grid

      Standard Mesh only

      • A wider webbing-grid layout.
      • Generally uses fewer straps and anchors than an equivalent 3×3 configuration.
      • Dependable protection with a cleaner, less visually dense grid.
      • Not available for every custom pool shape.

      3×3 grid

Standard Mesh or Premium High Density Mesh

      • A denser webbing-grid layout.
      • Additional webbing coverage, and typically more anchors.
      • Required for Premium High Density Mesh.
      • Commonly required for freeform and other complex pool shapes.

      Your pool decides what's available

Not every shape and size supports both grids. Rather than promise you a choice we might not be able to build, the estimator reads what CoverWerx actually offers for your exact pool and only shows the grid step when both are genuinely available. Everything else is set to 3×3 automatically, and it tells you so.

Diagrams are schematic — they show relative webbing density, not your pool's actual layout.

      The collection

      Five colours, both densities

CoverWerx builds its mesh in five colours, and every one of them is available in both Standard Mesh and Premium High Density Mesh. Your cover sits on the pool for half the year, so it is worth a moment.

      Built differently

The details that decide how long it lasts

A safety cover spends six months anchored, tensioned and loaded with snow. What keeps it looking right in year eight is not the mesh — it is the webbing, the chafe protection and the hardware at every wear point.

Double-sided webbing, chafe protection at every perimeter point, commercial hardware and a cover cut to your pool's actual outline are what produce both the durability and the clean, flat installed appearance. No single component makes a cover indestructible — the combination is what makes it last.

        Custom fit

Built around your pool, not near it

A CoverWerx cover is manufactured to your pool's actual outline and everything around it. Steps, ladders, slide legs, raised walls and water features are designed into the pattern rather than worked around afterwards.

When we won't give you an instant number

Some configurations are marked By Quote by the manufacturer. In those cases the estimator keeps everything you entered and routes it to us instead of guessing — you still get a complete answer, it just comes from a person.

        Made in St. Catharines

Cut to your pool. Not trimmed to fit it.

Every CoverWerx cover is manufactured to your pool's own pattern — steps, ladders, slide legs and raised walls designed in rather than worked around.

        Build and price your cover

A short set of questions about your pool. We only ask what the next answer actually depends on, and you can go back and change anything at any point.

This is the cover — installation is separate

Everything you price here is the safety cover and its components. Labour, installation and any other Pool Busters service is quoted on its own further down, and never added unless you ask for it. You can finish with a cover-only price and stop there.

          Optional services

What we can take off your hands

None of this is required to buy a cover. Every service below is priced separately in your estimate, and you can remove all of them with one click.

Product and labour never get mixed

Your estimate always shows the cover on its own, the services on their own, and a combined figure underneath. If you'd rather buy the cover and fit it yourself, that's a complete, valid quote — nothing is hidden inside the product price.

            How it works

Five steps, and you're never committed until the measurements are confirmed and you've seen the final figure in writing.

            Warranty

            Lifetime Protection, Explained Clearly

CoverWerx provides a lifetime pro-rated warranty to the original purchaser against defects in workmanship. Both Standard Mesh and Premium High Density Mesh carry exactly the same coverage.

"Lifetime pro-rated" does not mean a free cover forever

We would rather you understood this before you buy than after. If a qualifying workmanship defect is confirmed, you pay a share of the cover's cost — and that share grows with each season you've had it. In the first season there is no charge. By the seventh season your share is 80%. The schedule below is the whole picture.

            The pro-rated schedule

Your portion of the cost if a qualifying defect is confirmed.
            Pool seasonYour portion

Your percentage is calculated on the current year's retail price at the time of repair or replacement — not on what you originally paid. For warranty purposes the safety-cover season ends 30 April each calendar year.

            What the warranty requires

            • Coverage applies to the original purchaser.
            • Proof of purchase and the cover's serial number are required.
            • CoverWerx must inspect the cover and confirm a qualifying defect.
            • CoverWerx may repair or replace the cover at its discretion.
            • Freight charges for repair or replacement are the customer's responsibility.
            • The cover must be returned clean and dry.
            • Springs and buckles must be removed before a cover is returned.
            • Proper seasonal storage in the supplied bag is required.
            • The cover should be stored elevated and in its storage bag.

            What it does not cover

            • Damage resulting from improper installation, use or handling.
            • Premature deterioration caused by excessive chemical exposure.
            • Damage caused when the pool-water level drops more than 15 inches below the top of the pool deck.
            • The cover is intended for seasonal use, or use while you are away — it is not designed to be installed and removed as an everyday cover.

            Keep your paperwork

Final warranty decisions are made by CoverWerx, not by Pool Busters. Hold on to your invoice and your serial-number information — without them a claim cannot be processed, however clear the defect. We keep a copy on file too, but yours is the one that counts.

            Looking after it

Nine habits that decide how long it lasts

None of this is difficult, and most of it takes minutes. But several of these items are also warranty conditions — the water level one in particular — so they are worth reading once properly.

              What not to do

Don't pressure wash the cover, and don't reach for harsh cleaners or chemical treatments unless CoverWerx has specifically approved them. A cover that has been cleaned the wrong way looks fine for a season and then doesn't. If you're unsure, ask us before you try something.
