Flat-bottom architecture, quietly finished
PENTARM builds seamless flat-bottom shells in high-gloss gel coat. The Classic collection is pure proportion; the Mosaic collection adds factory-integrated porcelain tile at the waterline.

Unless indicated otherwise, these pools are non-diving and the use of diving equipment is prohibited. Availability, lead times and final specification are confirmed by Pool Busters at consultation.

Both are pools we build, and neither is simply better — they are different trade-offs.
A fiberglass pool arrives as one moulded shell. The surface is smooth and non-porous from day one, the shape is fixed to whatever the manufacturer makes, and because the shell is built off site the disruptive part of the work at your property is shorter.
A vinyl liner pool is built on site around a supporting wall, then fitted with a liner. That means you can have very nearly any shape and size you want, and the entry cost is usually lower — but the liner is a wearing part and is replaced periodically over the life of the pool.
Put simply: choose fiberglass for the surface, the speed and the low upkeep; choose a liner for freedom of shape and a lower starting price. We install both, and we will tell you which suits your yard rather than which suits us.
The surface. Gel coat is smooth and non-porous, so it is gentle underfoot and gives algae very little to hold on to. There is no resurfacing on the cycle a plaster pool needs.
Less upkeep. You still balance the water, run the filter and open and close for the season — but many owners find they use fewer chemicals across a season than they would on a plaster pool. It is a lower-effort pool, not a no-effort pool.
A shorter build on your property. The shell is manufactured off site and set in a single day once the excavation is ready, so there is less time with your yard opened up than a poured concrete build.
It copes with our winters. The shell has some flex to it, which is part of why fiberglass is installed and wintered right across Niagara and Canada.
Features moulded in. Tanning ledges, bench and swim-up seating and integrated spas are part of the shell on the models designed for them, rather than something added on site.

Colour, gel coat and waterline
The shell colour changes the character of the water more than any other decision. Latham finishes in Crystite; PENTARM finishes in high-gloss gel coat, with porcelain tile at the waterline across the Mosaic collection.
